Don't get me wrong... I absolutely love participating in swaps. I just got a bit too ambitious and signed up for more than I was prepared to take on. I had to step back and realize that there are orders in the shop that were getting behind. Don't even get me started on how much laundry and housekeeping duties have been slipping! So here is the 50 cards I just sent off in the mail for the last swap I committed to. I hope they find nice homes. The hardest part is, Little Bit Funky is having a super fun swap where you send your partner items from your state. The sheer volume of California goodness I could share is staggering! So pop on over there and sign up. I will live vicariously through you.

50 cards?!? What kind of swap was that? Thanks for the heads up-I went and signed up!
ReplyDeleteThose cards are just way *too cute*, but 50 is ALOT to take on!
ReplyDeleteIt's ok to step back once in awhile! And remember to take a little time for YOU!!!
those cards ARE adorable! great job.
ReplyDeletehey, i'm having a giveaway on my blog if you want to stop by and sign up! and you don't have to swap anything!
Well I am a little sad that you won't be playing along...we will miss you! But I totally understand...LOVE those cards! :)
ReplyDeleteThe cards are darling! I had seen that pattern before and really wanted to make them. You know how I love buttons.:-)
ReplyDeleteSO CUTE!!! and 50 cards...holy moly!
ReplyDeleteLovin' those cute cards! lovin' everything you create! I know what you mean about taking a step back, as I'm typing this I am sitting in piles of scrap paper up to my eyeballs and embellishments are laying everywhere. Just yesterday my hubby told me, "hey hon, when the laundry pile grows past the heigth of our bed, it's time to do a load or two:)" he is such a good sport!
ReplyDeletep.s. i'm having a giveaway too, no swapping involved:)
I have SO not had the best experience in swaps! I sent off my first one with time to spare before the "deadline" and still haven't received mine back from my partner! Kind of a bummer if you ask me...Just really frustrating, ya know?! I spent all this time and carefully picked out loads of pink happiness and still haven't gotten mine! It is one thing to kindly buy a gift for a friend...I would never ever expect anything in return...but this was a stranger I spent my time and money on and was left hanging.
ReplyDeleteOK...SO sorry for that little vent there! I KNOW KNOW KNOW that most people follow through on their commitments, but for some reason I seemed to have gotten shafted!! Maybe it will still show up, I don't know...
Seriously...sorry to go off like that!! I know it is hard to not do something you want to, but make sure you take some time for yourself in there too...otherwise you'll get burnt out!!
Have a fabulous Friday!!
MmmMm, those are adorable!! LOve em! Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteWOW 50 way cute cards! You're a brave woman--and talented too!
ReplyDeleteJulie,
ReplyDeleteRemember me? You did my big Williams-Sonoma order this past holiday - well I pop in every now and then to your shop and saw your blog, so I had to stop in and say hello. Thank you again for sharing your talent with me and my employees. People still tell me how much they love their signs.
