I have been dying to make cupcakes for weeks. But sometimes you just need a reason. We are celebrating my dearest friend's birthday tonight which is more than reason enough. I am an admitted frosting brat and just can't deal with the canned variety. So for today's cupcakes I decided to make my BFF's epic Peanut Buttercream frosting. Jealous? Here's the recipe so you can make your own.
Just imagine, devils food chocolate cake & peanut buttercream, topped with crushed Reeses peanut butter cups or chopped Reese's Pieces. Have you grabbed your keys yet? On the way to the store? I don't blame you.
Oh YUM. I was going to make cookies with the little one this evening, but we may try this instead! I love homemade frosting also, so much better!! xo!
ReplyDeleteYUM! I (heart) peanut butter. Thanks for the fabric info (earlier post). I'm never satisfied with what I see in fabric stores and I just can't bring myself to pay for the fabric in the high-end decorator stores. $7.50 is do-able in small increments.
