ReplyDeleteThe other day when I was waiting for my pizza order to come through, some lady came in to grab just two slices of pizza - she didn't have the right amount of change and was going to use her bankcard to pay for the pizza but she would have had to pay an extra 1.50 surcharge because her order was under 5 dollars. She was scrounging in her purse looking for change, having an aweful time - so I kindly just paid for her pizza, she seemed a little surprised - but I told her it was a random act of kindness and that one day she could pass it on.
ReplyDeleteI visited Lu Bird and wished her congratulations on her little wee babe - too cute for words.
ReplyDeleteI love love love this sign! It is so true!

ReplyDeleteI was at the hospital and decided to grab a drink for my wait at the pharmacy. The guy in front of me had forgotten his military ID, and couldn't buy his drink using his credit card without it. I paid for it, and he seemed a little flustered but grateful. I love helping out in little ways like that!

ReplyDeleteI helped my nephew out with a favor this weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect. I sent some words of encouragement to some dear friends who are facing a tough decision right now.
ReplyDeleteToday at the grocery store there was a mom with 2 younger kids in tow. The kids were talking about wanting things and mom was kind of shushing them-given todays economy I think I understand. I happened to have 2 free candy bar coupons in my purse. I turned and gave them to the kids (with moms permission). They spent the entire time my order was being rung up deciding what to get. It was so cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous daily reminder that sign would be in my home...it is not so easy to act that out on a daily basis so a reminder is valuable. I wrote the saying on my chalk board after reading your orginal post, but since grocery lists and to do list have crowded it out. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to find out if this sign is ready to be sold. I'm so wanting one!!
