I love to see those who seek beauty.
Who exemplify strength.
Lisa Leonard is a shining example of both.
Beautiful.
Inside and out.
Strong.
Encouraging.
Real.
Eight.
When Lisa told me about her newest necklace I had an idea.
I wanted to have a piece to remember Joy and our two other glory babies, as well as the testimony of how we were able to walk that long, dark season.
Each day I clung to this verse:
...for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
Nehemiah 8:10
Many days I still cling to it.
Today is one of those days.
I am so thankful to have this meaningful and thoughtful reminder.
Lisa blessed me with this beautiful necklace.
Lisa would also like to bless one of you with your very own.
The Heartstrings necklace is available with two, three or four heartstrings and will be personalized just for you. A saying, your children's names, your and your love and your anniversary...
How can you win?
{remember to leave a separate comment for each entry.}
Grab a cup of coffee. You are sure to be there for a while.
Be sure to leave some comment love.

I have my eye on this. Hint, hint, Jason.
She is sure to brighten your day with her lovely tweets.
Comments will close Friday January 28th at noon pacific time.
Thanks for sharing links to such great blogs and exposing us to your wonderful circle of friends.
ReplyDeleteI just read your story, about Joy, for the first time. I am new to your blog and I am so very touched by your story. I am a mommy to 4 kids. My last daughter, who is 3 on the 24th, was a twin and we lost that baby. We found out very early, so although our loss was great, it was not what you went through. You are a great writer and your story made me cry. I don't think I could ever be as strong as you and I really admire your strength. Thanks for sharing and I wish you all the best with your family. Your words, Joy's story, has truly touched me! A new blog follower, Marnie

ReplyDeleteI love that ...
ReplyDeleteI've been blessed with two of Lisa's necklaces. One from my husband and one from my niece. My sweet niece got me the large open circle (not showing in her shop right now) with my favorite verse ... "the joy of the Lord is my strength." I've clung to this verse over the last 5 years as we've hoped, wished and prayed for another child. Even when God says not now, wait upon Me ... when I am not happy at all ... I can still find His joy!
Thank you for sharing your heart!

ReplyDeleteLovely, I have a friend with a similar story...three angels destined for Heaven. She is an amazing Mommy! She has adopted one son, fostered several including one in her care right now. Julie if you get a chance please pray for her, her name is Bri & they would LOVE to adopt the newest baby boy in their care. Although I know God hears every prayer, there is something amazing that happen when we pray for those we don't know with pains we share. If I by some miracle win this amazing giveaway, I would honor Bri with the same idea you shared! Be blessed today, I know I am every time you share your amazing HEART!

ReplyDeleteI'm a twitter follower too!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing Joy's story. My little sister has lost 2 babies in the last year - one in her 1st trimester and one in her 2nd trimester. Her heart is still healing and her faith is shaken. She is trying to reconcile her belief in a merciful God with her hurting heart. I know sharing your story with her will help her on her path to healing and peace. I am so grateful for the tender mercies of a loving Heavenly Father and the knowledge that she, like you, will be able to hold her little ones one day. This life is but a small moment and if we endure and endure it well - we will live with our Savior and Heavenly Father again. The theme for our church youth this year is Joshua 1:9 and it has been such a comfort to my heart - Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest.
