But I'm not.
At least not this week.
Maybe next.
Or the next.
Or the next next.
But now I am doing laundry,
taxes,
google-ing Chewbacca weirdness,
and other super glamorous pursuits.
What are you making?
Besides piles of clothes and papers.
Because laundry and paperwork is no where near as fun as burlap and fabric.
im not making anything.
ReplyDeletebut i DID hot glue gun things to a lampshade, tonight.
that's about as good as its going to get.
Cute!! Not making anything. I tried adding the ruffle trim to a tank for Leila, but can't figure out how to thread my dang sewing machine. Whatevs.
ReplyDeleteI made 2 pillowcases last week. Haven't found the time yet to make any more. But I sure enjoyed those two pillowcases. :)

I have to say that I love your blog. I have been following it for a while now. I have started making a quilt, I have a whole 25 nine patches done :)...I loved seeing your bright and beautiful quilts and decided to take on the project for when my little girl gets big enough for a big bed! Thanks for all the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI've made some car seat canopies, diaper/wipe caddies and lots and lots of hair accessories for a boutique I'm doing next week at the Disneyland hotel. I'm kind of stressing out. I can see myself swearing off fabric and ribbon and buttons for a few weeks after it's over :) We'll see. I love that wreath. I should put it on my endless "will make one day" list.
ReplyDeleteA quilt! My first one. As if I did not have enough going on with an Easter swap, school, my DD's birthday & a coming vacation!
ReplyDeleteI totally needed some inspiration thanks. I just found burlap yesterday at a German craft store! I love the mini clothespins...I actually have some, and the other day when I was painting some teal for a project...I though of your blog...and your tealness ;)
ReplyDeleteI am not making anything, but I am attempting to spring clean. Problem is, my sweet newly turned one year old boy is "helping" me, plus I have to stop every ten minutes or so and kiss his fat little cheeks, so not much is getting done! Oh well!
ReplyDeleteI am laughing over the Chewbacca birthday party - can't wait to see how that all pans out! You're a sweet mommy to do a Chewbacca party!
I have a long list! A quilt for my daughter, a purse for my mom, easter dresses for my girls, bibs for the baby boom at church, recovering my kitchen chairs,... I also have to figure out how to make a Princess Tiana cake for my oldest. I really should do laundry and clean the house, but that is not fun!
ReplyDeleteSeriously? WHERE do you find all these fun tutorials? This is so cute! I think I could even make one and have it look halfway decent! So we don't have a hanger on our door for wreaths, but I could save it for our "forever house" in Kansas, right?! :) Plus, it would be dirty and dusty in about five minutes if I hung it outside here!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE. Love how you share so many of your fun finds! You rock sister!
this weekend, i'm going to head to the craft store and buy some tote bags to make for my kids and nieces for easter. i like giving easter goodies in something that can be reused all year (instead of traditional easter baskets), so they'll each get a monogrammed bag. :) love the wreath!
ReplyDeletenew photos from old ones and dirty clothes clean! :) Maybe a cranky baby into a happy one by letting her sleep! :) Awesome wreath. I would LOVE to make one, but I should probably finish the other 107.2 projects I have going first. Husband would love me for that. :) Happy Friday!!!
ReplyDeletei'm making fabric eggs to hang from a branch in a vase...i saw it somewhere, wish i had the link :)
ReplyDeleteanyways my husband thinks i'm crazy for making flat fabric eggs but oh well :)
wish i was making that wreath too, it is so cute!
i have some burlap...maybe i should be making that :)
Quilts, quilts, and more quilts!! Hoping to sell them to raise funds for our Ethiopian adoption.
ReplyDeleteBesides the burp clothes I made yesterday, I think I shall tackle some BURLAP bunnys....
ReplyDeletelast night, i made one of those chiffon-y cupcake shirts for my daughter's first birthday! i'd love to hear what you think!

I love the burlap wreath! I am waiting for the time to make some burlap bracelets!
I am making some aprons for some friends... dinner with them tonight, a quilt, and a dress that I have spent hours crocheting, just to find last night that it is twisted! I can't figure out if I twisted it from the beginning or if it can somehow be untwisted... I could cry. My list could easily grow if I keep reading random crafty blogs! Some many lovely people with such great ideas!!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to get chores done too...but oh how they compete with my desire to be crafty...I love things that have burlap.
ReplyDeleteI saw this wreath a couple of weeks ago and I am slowly collecting the supplies for it- I just love it.
ReplyDeleteI finished a Kindle kover for a friend and if I get the trim sanded in my hubby's office, I'm going to make altered tags as the gift tag for the cover.
ReplyDeleteI made a chocolate tres leches cake....I need to be hot gluing bows onto clippies for my daughters hair and sewing a scarf for my grandmother...but the scarf is having a tantrum...so instead I look to your blog for motivation...in any form :) Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty much addicted to making your fabric signs. Thanks a lot. I think I'm done for a while though. This weekend is all about a couple of birthday shirts as gifts. And some freezer paper stenciling for St. Patrick's Day t-shirts.
ReplyDeleteP.S. You need to have that wreath.
Love your blog! I'm a mommy to 2-yr-old triplets & craft, sew, whatever else I can in my spare time.
ReplyDeleteI am working on Easter basket liners & embroidering/monogramming them. I'm also working on some really cute birthday pinafores for my 2 girls.
I have a myriad of open projects & will have to see what comes after these.
Oh that wreath is so great! Good work on using restraint. I would have dropped everything and started making it. :)
ReplyDeleteI am making my little 2 year old a dress out of my old Supergirl pj's... should be fantastic! I hope.
ReplyDeleteLove the blog.
Haley
Right now, I am in the middle of a cross stitch project that has my granddaughter's name, birth date and weight. I've been working on it for awhile now, a little at a time.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your blog. I have been reading it for awhile. I stumbled upon it one day and the name caught my eye. You see, I have twin daughters named Joye and Hope. Have a wonderful weekend!
Trying to make a baby!;)
