  1. It does mess you up! Now my kids go to bed at ten instead of nine. It is now dark in the mornings and light at night! I live in Michigan. It is annoying! lol

  5. I live in Indiana, so we are late to the DST party. And I hate it. It's a novel idea, but doesn't deliver on its promises.

But the hardest part is resetting my preschooler's internal clock. Last week she went to bed after dark. This week it's still light out then. No fair!

  6. I just love this time change though. While most people are sad to be losing an hour I know I am actually gaining an hour . . .for months. Instead of my boys getting up at 5:30am they now get up at 6:30am. See the happiness. And it really works that way. They will get up at 6:30 for the next months. Because no matter when they go to bed they get up at the same time. Weird. But, very true. So, half the year it is 5:30 and have the year it is 6:30. So, this is me happy againi for the extra hour every morning. Blessings :)

  7. Sooooo funny and true. Everyone at church was like "wow, I really miss that hr." I just change my hr at night and go to bed at the same time. And I personally love this time change because we get to stay out later and the weather is perfect for a night at the park. Thanks for the laugh. :)

  14. This is the second place I have seen this. And I have to say that first, I just learned that it is Daylight Saving Time...not SavingS time. So since he is making fun of me I am going to make fun of him! ;D

And in my defense (having just moved from Arizona, which is smart enough NOT to observe DLS time) I have to say that it hasn't thrown me off, but I just don't get it!!

Why do you want it darker in the morning when it is hard to get out of ben and light at night when you are trying to get your kids to go to sleep?
