Our Bass Lake vacay in pictures.
Panning for gold.
Looking for squirrels.
Olde Timey train ride
Swimming. Lots of swimming.
Until we meet soon.
Love you forever and ever Bass Lake.
{P.S. All of the pics were taken with my point and shoot and are straight out of the camera. The collages were made in Picnik. Proof that you don't need a fancy cammy, endless hours to edit and Photshop to capture your family's memories. Be encouraged by that. Don't put off taking beautiful pictures until you think you have the right equipment or skills. Start with what you have. I promise that you are even more amazing than you think that you are.}
Bass Lake? That means we aren't too far from each other, unless you had to travel a VERY long way to get there. Dh & I had our first unofficial date there, it's very beautiful! As for the point & shoot, it's not the camera---it's the talent behind the camera---Great Job!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! It looks like you had a fantastic time! And great timing with this post; I have photoshop and wanted to learn how to do a collage, but haven't made the time to make it through that intimidating ol' process. :) Nice to know I have options!!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics and the ps. :) Your girls are adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh, I agree. I recently read that the best camera is the camera you have with you.
ReplyDeleteoh, i know I am ...and so are you! : ) looks like lots of fun julie!
ReplyDeletethat picture of the girls in their swim shirts with their pails is too cute!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! What awesome memories!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pic is the one of the three girls sitting in the water with their matching rash guards. Love that sunny yellow! So darn cute. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. Will be checking out Picnik. Thanks for the tip and encouragment.

Picnik ROCKS! I've had some fun with it lately as well. This is, um, rather hard to admit - but I've heard of Bass Lake before and I don't even live in the same state. There was a furor over it once on The Real Housewives. Not that I watch that trash, or anything... ;)
ReplyDeleteyour kiddos are so cute ! I swear...i could just gobble up bald baby...how precious she is !
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your family memories !
Fabulous pictures!!! What a gorgeous place to visit, your girls must have been thrilled.
ReplyDeletebeautiful
ReplyDeletewhat great family/quality time
that's my favourite advice to give-
"you're much more amazing than you think you are"-
wish people would get it....wish I would too
I have really learned to appreciate the simplicity of my point and shoot. Sometimes my SLR just stresses me out, so I leave it at home especially when you have the natural light outside
ReplyDeleteYou've got a lovely blog. The kids are just the cutest! I love to see how much fun they had! XOXO
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or is that an ULTRA blonde Julie with shorter hair? Did I miss the "this isn't me in the photo" memo, or did I skip the "going ultra blonde right now!" Tweet?
ReplyDeleteLove the pics. And the place. And the advice.
Thanks for the link to picnik.
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for a collage program.
Looks like it was an awesome camping trip. I love sooc pictures :) Sometimes, I just don't have the time to edit every one and just want to share the fun.
What fun!!! Love!
ReplyDeletep.s. Picasa is another great (free) thing to use to make collages ... and this site too:
