I read the guest post about the blessed to bless bags and started this tradition in my home this year as well. I have a 16 month old, and loved that everyone could be involved. Such a neat way to teach about giving back. Thanks for leading the way and for sharing your ideas. I really enjoy your blog {especially the insanely hillarious posts about flying- sometimes I forward the link to my husband and he swears that I must have somehow hi-jacked your computer!}. You are an inspiration!
What a wonderful thanksgiving! I would love more info. on the Blessed to Bless bags. I see the Ruples have referred to it, but I am unsure where to find the post. It sounds like an excellent idea.
What a wonderful dinner shot!! That table is awesome and I hope to one day have one that size filled with family and friends!!!!
Wow, so much blessing and beauty happening in these pics, I don't know where to start! Loved your assembly line for the B2B bags and your table...whoa. You're another level of talent, lady.
OMGosh I want to be part of your family! What a way to celebrate Thanksgiving and teach your kids to give. Love the big family table and all the details!
those bags are awesome. we had a man come to our car on an over pass in a wheelchair asking for money. i was so bummed i didn't have a bag to give him! i must get this done! you are inspiring julie!
I love it, the girls are adorable! And because I am so random are you drinking a Mountain Dew? Yuck-o, shocking if so even to me the self proclaimed Dr Pepper cannot hang with that stuff.
What a great recap!! I love that awesome ginormous table you have!! And those pilgrim costumes!! I am guessing you made them? And the bags . . . I am going to start doing that. thank you so much for all of your wonderful ideas. xox cheryl
It looks like an amazing Thanksgiving! I'm glad you and several other people did the Blessed to Bless Bags. We did not because we don't see anyone homeless in our little neck of the woods. But I do think it would be fun to do some of those bags before we go on future vacations because we usually do see the homeless then.
Love the turquoise pumpkins on the mantel btw!
Hope you are having a relaxing week. :) I do know how much work those Thanksgiving dinners can be. ;)
