Surprisingly, it was not that crowded at all here. The deals were AMAZING! Stores that rarely run sales at all were 50% or more off entire store. EVERYONE had deals you just couldn't resist. I am soooo glad that we went out. :-)
Now I have to tackle the holiday decorating today.
I slept in too!! I'm usually out there with the crazies, but just didn't 'feel' it this year ;). I did 'pre-buy' at Target (based on the ads leaked and then the one they posted on their site Wednesday) and then just took my receipt to customer service yesterday afternoon and had them price adjust it ... saving me $150 :D.
I didn't leave the house. We put up our Christmas decorations and had a lazy quiet day. Just the way I like the holidays. There will be plenty of time to shop, in my p.j.s at the computer with a cup a coffee while the kids sleep.
I LOVE Black Friday. Love. Then again, I hate sleeping in, so it's perfect. Get up all early like...hair in a pony, cozy pants and a hoodie...stop at starbucks for a mocha coffee venti skinny soy something or other...and then head out all alone in the dark.
BUT. I will only do Black Friday in my smallish town. I made the mistake of doing it once in So Cal and it was HORRID. Crazy. Here...it's just busy. No bigs. I always hate when we are out of town for Thanksgiving, because it means no early morning shopping. So sad. :(
I had a craft day with my mom...no deals for me....:)
ReplyDeletewe put up put our Christmas tree and hid from the stores.
ReplyDeleteI slept too. Well, kind of. At least I stayed in my pajamas all morning long.
