These are a few of her favorite things.
Favorite food?
Beans. Any bean. Any way. Any time of day. She begs me to buy cans of them at Target. Not candy. Not cookies. Kidney beans. Black beans. Pinto beans. Beans
Favorite item of clothing?
Walmart jeggings.
She cuddles them. Would wear them every single day and night if she could. Her soft jeans. Her un-scratchy, un-strangling cozy jeggings. Jeggings.
Favorite animal two years running?
Squirrels. What did she ask Santa for?
"A real ALIVE squirrel. Not in a cage. Not to live outside. An alive one that can run loose in the house." Squirrels.
So thank you, tiny, baby Jesus, for FurReal friends and this newborn chimpmunk. It eats. It moves. It chatters. It doesn't bite or have rabies. It's not a real ALIVE squirrel, but it will do for my quirky, silly, bean eating, jegging wearing, squirrel loving, girl.
Adorable!
ReplyDeleteso fun! yay for fuzzy, fake squirrels!
ReplyDeletePreciousness personified!
ReplyDeleteSo that confirms it - I'm too old to wear jeggings :-) They just look so COMFY! Man!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the hat, and cuddly squirrels! (sans rabies)
I have a close firend who grew up in rural Alabama. She had REAL LIVE squirrels for pets. Aren't you glad you live in SoCal?

ReplyDeleteBeans? Really? It's the cute ones that are always a little weird. Just kidding, of course. She is just adorable! Have a wonderful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLove her! Jeggings... now there's something I have yet to try... they *do* look comfy.... ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas Eve, Eve!
My daughter is getting a Fur Real Walking Pup for Christmas. She's gonna die with excitement!
ReplyDeleteI love your Lucy almost as much as I love my Lucy.
ReplyDeletePersonality coming out of every pore.
Trader Joe's Marinated Bean Salad. Mason could eat it until he's sick. I thought he was the only weirdo kid who actually asked for random food like black beans. A can of that stuff presented with the squirrel would probably equal heaven for Lucy.
ReplyDeleteMy middle is a bean loving girl too! Crazy! :) She also keeps asking for another real LIVE baby sibling so I bought her a new doll. :)
ReplyDeletei could totally fed ex you a real squirrel tomorrow...
ReplyDeleteI thought of you today at H &M when I saw a little squirrel dress in turquoise and pink.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! And I thought it was funny when my son asked for a "real alive monkey" several years ago for his birthday. "But he can stay in my room and hang out on my shoulder, Mom!"
ReplyDeleteI think squirrel beats monkey. Too cute!
My darling son (5 y.o) has wanted a monkey for the last 3 years, we also got him a fur-real animal for his birthday a few weeks ago! He LOVES it. Hope you have a fabulous Christmas!
ReplyDeleteAwww, you are a good Momma!
