Here is a peek in to the simple and sweet of our funny, sunny and full days.
That is what summer is made of.
That and no socks in the laundry.
The Target dollar spot. Necessary evil. One dollar junk that breaks, annoys me or I secretly throw away.
But one dollar illustrated classics? Genius. Best $5 this girl has spent there ever. Especially since my little reader goes through a book a day.
I will not stop extolling the wonder of my pineapple slicer until there is one in every house.
Well not really, but seriously, how much do you want a pineapple right now?
One that you don't have to figure out how to cut?
I could marry it.
Team swagger wagon.
Love it. Love.
But know that all eyes were accounted for.
Thinking of naming our son Al Carbon.
Because that is what I have been living on.
Soooooooooo good.
Happy trash.
Seriously, watch for her on the Food Network in a few years.
As long as they will let me, I will be that mom with the matching girls on holidays.
$6.95 dresses for the win. For the fourth.
Supertones show.
Big girls on stage with their daddy.
Such a happy night.
Link up the little random moments from your week with me:
I'm a little new to your blog but recognized your husband. Figured he just looked like someone I know. However, I grew up in socal and totally loved the Supertones! That was years and years ago. Didn't realize he was a part of that group. How fun!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVED the Supertones when I was in high school!! Unfortunately my mom lent my cds to the youth leader at our Church then he quit so I never got them back. Love your blog!! Thanks for sharing:)
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right, that pineapple cutter is a MUST OWN item for anybody who even relatively likes pineapple. I don't think I could live without mine.
ReplyDeleteAhh - you were at the Big Red Bucket? I was at the Big Red Bucket! I wonder if we were there together :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! I can't even tell you how many Supertones concerts my (now) husband and I went to in highschool
ReplyDeleteLove Target! Love their dollar isle! Loved reading that your daughter is an avid reader. I just started blogging my passion and putting together beautifully balanced collections of books, movies, music and cookbooks for every age group - and what makes it amazing is they are all available from your local library - adding meaning to your life without spending money. Would love for you to come visit and tell me what you think! xoxo michele

Supertones? AS in the OC SUPERTONES? No Way!! I saw them back when I was like 14 yrs old. Thats so awesome.
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog and love it. The first concert I went to was a Supertones. My husband is still a fanatic and we rock their albums often. He said just the other day if they ever play any where near TN again that we will be going. He has a major weakness for some good ska...I totally concur.
ReplyDeleteIs that the Ladera water park?
ReplyDeleteHugs,
