Insta-Friday.

Here is a peek in to the simple and sweet of our funny, sunny and full days.

Pool days, water park days, beach days.
That is what summer is made of.
That and no socks in the laundry.

The Target dollar spot.  Necessary evil.  One dollar junk that breaks, annoys me or I secretly throw away.
But one dollar illustrated classics?  Genius.  Best $5 this girl has spent there ever.  Especially since my little reader goes through a book a day.

I will not stop extolling the wonder of my pineapple slicer until there is one in every house.
Well not really, but seriously, how much do you want a pineapple right now?
One that you don't have to figure out how to cut?
I could marry it.

If you are my mother, do not look at this picture.
But know that all eyes were accounted for.

Thinking of naming our son Al Carbon.
Because that is what I have been living on.

    I'm a little new to your blog but recognized your husband. Figured he just looked like someone I know. However, I grew up in socal and totally loved the Supertones! That was years and years ago. Didn't realize he was a part of that group. How fun!

    I absolutely LOVED the Supertones when I was in high school!! Unfortunately my mom lent my cds to the youth leader at our Church then he quit so I never got them back. Love your blog!! Thanks for sharing:)

    You're absolutely right, that pineapple cutter is a MUST OWN item for anybody who even relatively likes pineapple. I don't think I could live without mine.

    Love Target! Love their dollar isle! Loved reading that your daughter is an avid reader.     Supertones? AS in the OC SUPERTONES? No Way!! I saw them back when I was like 14 yrs old. Thats so awesome.

    Just found your blog and love it. The first concert I went to was a Supertones. My husband is still a fanatic and we rock their albums often. He said just the other day if they ever play any where near TN again that we will be going. He has a major weakness for some good ska...I totally concur.

    i really need those cookies again. because peaches and cream cupcakes are not enough. and it's 105 here. perfect time to crank the oven even longer than i already have today. what is wrong with me???
