I have been playing with some washi tape and thinking about how in the world Mrs. Duggar does it.
Seriously, how???
While I will never ever be able to figure out that riddle, given it may or may not have to do with wearing denim skirts, I am comforted in knowing that for the most part, nobody has it all together.

At least I know that I don't.
Best be getting some denim skirts.

  2. Amen , sista ! My little one is only a week or so older than yours ... While newborns are absolute lil cherubs...dang, IT IS HARD !! it's been a looong time since I've taken care of a newbie (I'm 42..yup...too old!) your so right ,maybe we need to dig deep in the "goodwill stash" and pull out one of those lovely denim skirts .at this point, if it helped, I would do it ! Hang in there my friend !

  3. So true! I have been reading the Duggar's new book, and Michelle admits she struggles the same way we do. She also said that she wants everyone to know she gets stressed and feels anger at times the same way we do.

  13. I LOVE this simple little post! I was prego with my second and I had a serious sobbing meltdown outside the grocery store thinking about Mrs. Duggar. How can she have all those kids and make it through a day and I only have 1 and 1 on the way and can't even make it through the grocery store? I'm doomed! I ended up on my best friends porch step still sobbing. I can look back and laugh now that I am not prego anymore...but that comparison game can get you! Praise Jesus that he loves us when we are weak and when we are strong enough to make it through the grocery store! Thank you for posting!!

  14. She lives 20 minutes from me and she's speaking to my sister's bible study class about managing a home in a few weeks. I always say I would be such a nicer person if I had 1/10th the amount of patience she has!!

  16. Thanks for this reminder. Even when I was wearing denim skirts and had big girls at home helping, I definitely didn't have it all together. Now, my big girls are married and I still have a bunch of littles at home...so challenging, with or without a denim skirt!
