My computer is back!
Yay yay yay yay!!!
It hasn't taunted me with it's rainbow torture, and it didn't crash when I uploaded these pictures.
It is a happy day.
How was your day?
Here is a peek into our week through my iPhone lens...
1. Mean computers. 2. Local Goodwill that smells like cats and death. 3. & 4. Two recipes from Pinterest that were a total fail and have been subsequently unpinned.
1. & 2. I love my Bumbleride stroller. Love it. But when I bought it I obviously thought that we would just keep on having girls. I try to convince myself, that since I, a girl, am pushing it, the color doesn't matter. But it is all kinds of pinky pinkness. 3. I love that my husband has the patience to buy real books and real cd's. I don't. But there is something to say for the actual cd artwork and booklet and the ability to pass along a book when you are done. Amazon Prime one day shipping doesn't hurt either. 4. Squinkies. Oh Squinkies. The things that kids like just baffles me. The girls have dozens of them. But if one goes missing, which happens ALL THE TIME because they are microscopic, tears flow. So much drama and anguish caused by one teeny little rubber creature.
1. Rain is my favorite weather. A rainy pj day is my favorite day. 2. This kid is a BEAST on the soccer field. Her little five year old league is hard core. Elbow throwing, pushing, kicking beasts. The lot of them. It's nuts. 3. The occasional dress up day is a really big deal to this uniform wearing duo. Big big deal. Big enough to lure me into the stinky Goodwill searching for outfits. I succeeded. Thankfully. 4. This kid is a beast on the drums. A cute, noisy, little beast. There has been talk about setting up Jason's old set in the house. Send help. Please.

the pics of your walk are dreamy!
ReplyDeleteand how great was that rainy day...heaven!
now it's going back to 90'...ugh
happy weekend friday!
Curse that color coating organizing at the Goodwill too. Now it takes twice as long to sift through "cats and death" was it? HA!
ReplyDeleteThat pinky stroller is screaming add me some turquoise! It'll be boy-ish enough then! Though I don't think there is anything wrong with the little man seeing the world from his pink stroller!
ReplyDeleteI don't like goodwill either, and hate when I make a recipe off the web and it doesn't turn out to be what it claimed to be. Had that happen two weeks ago when we tried some cupcakes using marscapone cream and as soom as we add the butte like recipe said to the cream cruddles. $6 of cream now had too be thrown away. Glad you got you compute back so quickly.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! You inspired me to do instafriday this week!
ReplyDeleteLove your pics and your post! Thanks for sharing! What frame app are you using?
ReplyDeleteLove the iPhone collage, super cute! Gotta love the Bumbleride, I have the indie twin in orange and turquoise for my first two (boy/girl). Now the girls are in the orange, which works...we could trade ;) or better yet, "real men wear pink"! Happy weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know how, but we've managed to stay a squinky-free house thus far. I'm thanking my lucky stars!
ReplyDeleteOh no...my computer is giving me the rainbow way too often now. It needs to last past Christmas. Ugh. On a brighter note, my sweet, sweet husband used his birthday money to order me an iphone, so I will soon be able to participate in Insta-Friday. And, finally, I've hated every recipe I've tried from Pinterest so far. Such a disappointment! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure if there was ever a drum set in my house I would immediately lose my mind. Period.
ReplyDeleteLove the dress up outfits!
It's so funny that you mention the 'books'... just last night my husband was telling me that out of the 100ish books we have lying around our house (mostly all his), he has nothing to read. I told him that I was going to have to get him a kindle or a nook for his birthday and he said he didn't want a techie thing like that... he likes actual books, which I think could be rare however I told him that he must donate at least have of what we have that he won't read to the library if he plans on buying more. Men.
ReplyDeleteI want to be a goodwill shopper, but the smell.. it's almost too much to handle!
ReplyDeletedo you use photoshop to create the collage of your photos? I love how you arranged them... adds so much!
I must know which recipes were fails! LOL
ReplyDeleteoh, love the stroller!!
ReplyDeletewe buy "real" books and cds, too. can't help ourselves!!
