Brought to you by the letter S.
Hello Shane.
Hello seven hours of sleep.
Hello sweet dreams.
Hello surviving.
(Thank you so much for your prayers and advice. We have had a few great nights. Last weekend I was ready to run away. This weekend I feel like I can rejoin the land of human beings once again. We changed his probiotics to BioGaia and are giving him looooooong baths every night. He is happier. We are happier. Hooray!!!!)
Say Hello with Lisa Leonard.
Those eyes!
ReplyDeleteHappy sleeping, mama.
Hello Gorgeous Baby!
ReplyDeleteOh, Shane.. Your eyes are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting sleep, Mama. :) Don't you feel like a whole new person after getting your first full night of sleep since having a baby? I so remember that!
Yay!
ReplyDeleteI'm a grandma, so those sleepless nights are a long time ago, but you will live and you will forget these tough times in a few years...plus he is so stinkin cute!! I guess if he wasn't you'd put him at the door in a basket with a cute sign...FREE...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing...most of us have been there, done that...and you will get to sleep someday...
Aww....what a sweetie pie. Praying things settle down some more for you.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking of you last night. Your card is still here(so sorry!) :(
Chewbeads! We have the same color - love them!!
ReplyDeletehooray for sleeping! here's to many more hours this week :) sleep, Shane, sleep ....
ReplyDeleteI'm SOOOOO glad you were able to get sleep. I've been thinking about you since your last post 'cause I know how miserable it is to be sleep deprived. Happy you found something that works and that you AND Shane are happier. He is possibly the prettiest baby on the planet. :)
ReplyDeleteOh No! Did you really just celebrate that you SLEPT?? Do you know that you are begging the sleep faires to come tickle Shane all night long??? :)(Just kidding) I am glad you got some rest, and will say a prayer that you are not counting your sleepy chickens before they hatch. I remember those YEARS of no sleep. It was brutal! If we had a good night then the next night I would be all "No, you have to walk 6 steps from the bath and slightly turn to the left, THEN you can only use the diaper with Elmo on it and the white lotion, NOT the pink...." And I was serious lol! ANYTHING to replicate a successful night of sleep! Also, since his peepers prefer the "on" position, you should book some late evening modeling shoots for this beautiful boy so he can create a super duper college fund for himself! With his eyes alone I bet he could fund undergraduate and med school in no time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear things are going in the right direction. I was worrying about you all. He is precious and those eyes.....he is so cute!
ReplyDeleteoh yay julie. so thankful. i'll keep praying.
ReplyDeleteBioGaia is *the best* stuff on earth when you are dealing with a baby with tummy troubles. I'm so happy you have gotten some much needed rest. This mom of 4 (youngest is 15 months) wants to encourage you that the light at the end of the tunnel is just ahead. Praying for you!
ReplyDeletei was thinking about you yesterday.
ReplyDeleteso glad your back and feeling better.
praying for you!
:)
oh yay for sleep!!!
ReplyDeletehe's so precious. :o)
My daughter will be 8 months next week. When she was 5 weeks old I decided to start giving her baths EVERY night before bed. It made a really big difference and she soon started sleeping all night. I haven't skipped a night since then. It is relaxing AND it gives her routine and a sense of schedule. Bath=Bedtime ;)
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine! So glad you are getting your much-deserved rest :) Love ya momma!
