Our sweet Halley has decided to follow Jesus.
No turning back. No turning back.
The cross before her. The world behind her.
She entered the little pool holding hands with her daddy.
In front of our dear church, that is so much more than a church. It is a family. A family that cheers wildly and cries joyfully to see this little girl stand up for the savior that she loves so dear.
Our hearts are full. Overwhelmed with the gift and blessing that she is. The daily honor it is to be her parents.
May she always follow hard after her Jesus.
No turning back.

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing, grown-up little person she is. May you always be a witness to God's truth and mercy, sweet Halley. God bless you!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I wanted to be baptized as a little girl and somehow it just never got done. As an adult, I felt like I needed to stand up in front of my church family and declare my love for Jesus, so I was baptized. The awesome thing was that both of my kids were there to see and it sparked some incredible conversation. I echo Melissa in saying Welcome to the family! God bless you and your family!

ReplyDeleteI don't know you and you don't know me, but I feel like we have been friends for a lifetime. I truly enjoy your blog. I have to say, after having my four children come to accept Christ and then be baptized over the years, seeing this post brought me to tears. There is nothing more tender or special than seeing a little one follow Christ. "Suffer the little children." It's exciting to see in her eyes the excitement of proclaiming her faith in Jesus and what He has done for her. Continue raising your little ambassadors to live for Him.
ReplyDeleteoh wow what a wonderful day, I just loved the video, may God gift her with this beautiful faith in Jesus all the days of her life. xx
